Kelsey Knoer

Overview

Kelsey developed a love for the law at a young age. Today, she represents clients as a general litigation attorney, advising on a broad range of civil matters. Her large breadth of legal knowledge serves individuals and businesses involved in various disputes.

Kelsey is known for her critical thinking and problem-solving skills – and thrives on putting her extensive experience into practice.

Bio

Kelsey grew up on a farm outside Wentworth, South Dakota before graduating from South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. At SDSU, Kelsey was already putting her interest in the law to great use, founding and presiding over the university’s Pre-Law Society. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and attended University of Nebraska College of Law where she earned many awards and served as Reviewing Editor for the Nebraska Law Review. She earned her Juris Doctor with distinction in 2017.

Her professional experiences on the journey to becoming a lawyer have taken her many places. As a law clerk, she worked for the Lancaster County Attorney in Lincoln, Nebraska. She also worked as Legal Extern for the United States Department of Defense, Office of General Council in Arlington, Virginia. Most recently, she was Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence L. Piersol in the United States District Court, District of South Dakota in Sioux Falls.

Kelsey joins Boyce Law bringing a varied depth of experience which best serves her critical thinking and problem-solving skills by allowing her to see issues from many different perspectives. She enjoys putting those skills to use in all matters of general litigation.
